Most Solana trading wallets charge a percentage of each swap, on top of network fees, and most of them land within a few tenths of a point of each other. That's why nobody compares. The gap only shows up when something isn't a percentage.
The published rates
- Phantom: 0.85% per swap.
- Solflare: 0.85% per swap.
- Axiom: 0.95% per swap.
- Trading bots: around 0.8%, and they hold your keys.
- Jupiter Mobile: roughly 0.1%, though instant swaps run 0% to 0.5% depending on volatility.
- Spread-based "no fee" wallets: nothing shown, but the quote is worse than market. Often the most expensive model, and the hardest to see.
- Aurus: 0.1% or 0.001 SOL, whichever is lower. Capped, any size.
Every wallet also pays the same Solana network fees. Those go to validators, not the app, and they're fractions of a cent.
What that looks like
10 SOL swap: 0.085 SOL on a 0.85% wallet, 0.001 SOL on Aurus. 100 SOL swap: 0.85 SOL versus the same 0.001. A round trip on a 0.85% wallet costs about 1.7% before the token has moved at all. The gap scales with size and multiplies with how often you trade. Flat vs percentage has the full math.
Check your own history
We built a fee comparison that does this on real trades. Paste in any Solana address, yours or an active trader's, and it pulls the swap history from the chain, prices each swap at the time it happened, and applies each wallet's published rate to it. What you get is what those trades would have cost on Phantom, Solflare, Axiom, and Jupiter, next to the Aurus fee, in SOL and dollars. It's the quickest way to see how much the model matters at your size.
