2) Important information and who we are
The controller of the data described in this policy is BASIL LABS FZ-LLC (“Aurus”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), the developer and operator of the Aurus mobile application. The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. The app and website may contain links to third-party sites, applications, and services; clicking those links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you, and we do not control and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

3) Non-custodial disclaimer
Aurus is a non-custodial wallet. We do not collect, store, or have access to your private keys or your seed phrase, and we cannot recover your wallet if you lose your keys or recovery phrase. Transactions you sign are broadcast to the blockchain and generally cannot be reversed. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your keys, your seed phrase, and your device.
4) The data we collect about you
Because Aurus is non-custodial and requires no account or registration, the data we process is limited. We process public wallet addresses (“public keys”) and related public blockchain data in order to display balances, positions, activity, and other wallet functionality. To keep the wallet fast and reliable we may also store and process transaction and activity data through a listener or indexing service — for example transaction signatures, timestamps and status, token accounts, mints, and transfers as reflected on-chain, and other publicly available blockchain metadata needed to power features. Blockchain addresses and transactions are typically public on the Solana blockchain and may be visible to third parties independently of Aurus.
We also collect diagnostics and crash data to maintain reliability and improve the app. This information is sent automatically through our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) and may include crash traces and error messages, the app version, device and operating-system details, and approximate network information such as an IP address included in error reports or server logs.
We do not collect private keys, seed phrases or mnemonic values, biometric templates (Face ID and fingerprint data stay on your device), or government IDs and KYC documents, unless you later opt into a feature that clearly states otherwise.
5) How we use your data
We use the information described above to provide core wallet features such as balances, activity, and transaction construction and broadcasting; to monitor transactions and update state through our listener and indexing infrastructure; to maintain uptime, performance, and reliability; to detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse; and to provide customer support when you contact us. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
7) International transfers
Our service providers may store and process data on servers located outside the country in which you reside. Whenever we transfer data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with this policy and with applicable data-protection law. 8) Data security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect the information we process, including encrypted
connections (HTTPS) and access controls for internal systems, and we limit access to
those who have a business need to know. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure,
however, and because Aurus is non-custodial you remain responsible for securing your device and
your recovery materials.
9) Data retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Crash logs and diagnostics are kept for a limited period to investigate and fix issues, and listener and indexed transaction data is retained as needed to provide features and performance. Public blockchain data remains publicly available on-chain regardless of our retention practices.
10) Your legal rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data-protection law to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to object to or request restriction of certain processing; to request transfer of your data; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 11) Children
Aurus is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
